Cost Cutters

Abby is an absolute miracle worker! I told her I was very nervous due to having a bad experience elsewhere. She was kind, gentle, and talked to/asked me before doing anything. I have loved my hair everyday these last six weeks. Everyday is a good hair day due to how she cut it. It just always seems to fall right! I’m looking forward to my next appointment :)

I scheduled an appointment for just a styling, which I found out was the wrong choice. The girl behind the counter explained that that was basically curling your hair. What I needed to have scheduled was an updo because those take longer than the 30 minutes I had scheduled. I said, so you can't do a messy bun in 30 minutes, no curling or even hairspray is even needed? She said no. That's an updo, and they cost SEVENTY DOLLARS. My only niece got married today and I have never been able to put my hair in a decent looking messy bun. I wanted to look nice for her special day. I know they are simple and can do them on others, just not myself. Therefore, I know they take 5 minutes tops. I asked for a centimeter off the front and a small trim in the back and most of the side burns off the girl styling my hair absolutely butchered it. She cut about 3 inches off of the front so there is practically nothing In the front, she then shaved most of the back off. I absolutely hate it and now I have to start the school year and get a school photo looking absolutely horrendous and disgusting. I hope the person that cut my hair knows how bad she did, I have curly hair so by the time it dries it'll look like I have a receding hair line at 13, I think the girls name was Becca I remember is that she had a plaque saying that shes been working for 10 years. My hair takes so long to grow back so I'll have to look like this for months.

I typically don't go to Cost Cutters, but needed a quick appointment and they got me in right away. Molly is the girl that cut my hair and it was one of the best cuts I've ever had. I will definitely be back!

"Barber's" name I don't know but she's older in comparison to others, tall with short black or dark brown hair, black rimmed glasses. A few months ago she asked and I directed one inch cut and she took off 1.5 to 2 inches which I did not notice as I am blind during the cut. Shocked when I got home. A few months later or just this past week I sat down with her again and explained my last cut. She apologized but then did not cut off enough so I asked and she trimmed off more. But then did not shave my neck , angry when I got home, as she and others there always do. From here on I will pass on her and wait for the next "barber"
