This one is better than the el cajon location for sure as far as staffing goes. Customer service in El cajon is terrible. This la mesa location is much improved.

I visited there yesterday 02/12/24 around 2 something P.M we received zero customer service they were not helpful at all two ladies who work there didn’t know their names but my guess one of them was manager we asked about hair color they didn’t even came they just answered from back of the register so we called them again and they started calling each other. Finally one of them did show up and then she said the only way to get your hair lighter, you have to bleach it out. I went to the El Cajon location and then they were very helpful. Perfect customer service they showed me the color I want it without telling me you have to bleach your hair. Don’t rec This This location again
Customer service is absolute trash. No greeting, no offer to help, nothing.
The assistant manager was super helpful.
