Cosmo Prof

I went into Cosmo Prof today needing some shampoo for my coarse , dry hair. I usually just like to look on my own, but since I am a skin gal and didn’t feel like strolling the aisles.. A very nice worker approached me and asked if they could help. I told them my problem I believe their name was Dylan( I hope) they knew exactly what I needed and I even walked Out with a matching conditioner. I am writing this review because I feel that when people give great service and they look like they really enjoy what they do, we should Acknowledge them. So Thanks Dylan!!

Doesn’t even deserve one star! My sister and I walked in looking for a certain brand. My sister, by the way, is 24 and had brain cancer surgery 2 weeks ago. She is wanting to dye the hair that she has purple, so we went looking for dye. From the minute the associate walked up she was beyond rude. Then, took it to another level forcing us to leave because we were not “licensed” professionals. Clearly, we weren’t trying to be! Neither of us had ever been in a Cosmoprof before, and wish we wouldn’t have. But, saying we shouldn’t even have our hands on the hair product as we were walking out was the cherry on top. There was absolutely no reason for her to be that rude! If the woman associate with green/blue hair is there when you walk in, RUN!!!!!!!!!

Taylor Miller hit the nail on the head. I went in not knowing it is a licensed store (as it's in the middle of a strip mall full of stores -- including salons! -- open the the public). I discovered all too soon that it is when the manager in a brusque way informed me of the fact. If you want to be a closed store to the public, then either lock the door or hire a manager who can explain that to the (dreaded) public in a nice way.

Wow, just wow! I do not suggest this store to anyone. I had with me my active Iowa license and the associate would not sell to me....why? Because I could not remember my phone number or address they had on file for my cosmoprof card. I suggested I get a new one....nope!!! Associate said this was not possible. P.S. I did phone corporate and file a store complaint, they stated this was not normally their policy, and the woman on phone found my card on the 2nd try! But I won't be using it.
