Corky's Barber Shop

I have been taking my husband to Corky's for many years and my husband's Dad went there for about 25 years. It is old and quaint and I think it has the same barber's chairs of 25 years ago. Both Corky and his partner give you a great haircut for a great price. They take care of my husband (He's disabled) while I go shopping or walk the dogs.

This shop reminded me of one's from the past and not a beauty parlor. I walked in, unknown to the barber, told him what I like, he cut my hair as I liked, and I was out in under 20 minutes. Corky provided a great friendly service! I didn't need to be pampered or massaged.

I showed up at 10am on a Tuesday and the door was locked. There’s also a black tarp over the window. I watched an old man knock on the door and be let in, and the door lock behind him. This place is some sort of elderly secret organization.

Great haircut and friendly service

I needed to get a haircut on my vacation down the coast of California and thought it would be a safer bet to head to a barbershop in a town like Cambria rather than somewhere in a big city. Definitely the right decision. Both gentlemen who work here are super nice and I got a great, affordable haircut.
