Colorful Nails

The place was gorgeous but the lady did not do my nails well. First she did not shape them correctly. Second they applied the polish on too thick. Both were evident even as time passed

Colorful nails has been my favorite nail salon for YEARS now. I recently moved out of New Hyde Park and I travel 45 minutes just to keep getting my nails done here. I felt I needed to write a review recently because I didn’t realize how good I had it until I moved haha. Sammie and her crew are SO sweet and always do such an amazing job. They are so clean (pre-pandemic) and even more sanitized during this pandemic time. They always have the best color options for pedicures and gel manicures. The two pictures I posted , the first one is a day after I got them done (gel manicure) and the second picture is a WEEK LATER (still perfect!) Thank you Colorful Nails ladies!

A week and one nail cracked and I glued it. Now the powder dip is just peeling off my nail. I have never gotten under 2 weeks from powder dip anywhere and the woman during my nails said 2-3 weeks… usually because your nails are growing… I thought the place was clean and the woman that did my pedi was sweet. The owner did my nails and was in the middle of the dip when she took another customer to soak off her nails. The shape was weird too! I was really bummed because this place recommended and it was in the area

It is hard to believe that right next to such a busy road as it is Jericho Turnpike there is a place like this: so calming and soothing. The word Zen has true meaning here. No loud music, no loud TV, just a nice, clean, bright atmosphere that I love. Feels like going to a SPA every single time! Highest rating too for the lovely ladies who run it, I have never asked their names but my sincere appreciation goes to them. 🙏🏽

Absolutely love this place! Super friendly staff, manager always says hello with a friendly smile. Very clean, never a long wait time. I love being able to watch food network while getting my manicure and pedicure. Highly recommended trying
