Love my new color and cut from Emina! The picture I took at home doesn’t even do it total justice. She did a fantastic job and my hair feels so healthy again. Her studio is sparkling clean and has a very relaxing vibe. So glad I made an appointment here- I’ll be back!

Emina, my master stylist and colorist, has been my go-to professional for over 30 years. I first discovered her incredible talent while she was based in Brooklyn, and when she made the move to Connecticut, I didn't hesitate to follow her. What sets Emina apart from others in her field is her unparalleled skill and expertise. She has an innate ability to understand my hair and knows exactly how to bring out its best features. Whether it's a simple trim or a complete hair transformation, Emina always delivers exceptional results. I have always been impressed by Emina's colorist abilities. She has an incredible eye for choosing the perfect shades that enhance my natural beauty and complements my skin tone. Color Lounge is hands down the best salon in CT! I tried out so many others in the area and I’m so glad I finally found the perfect place. Borana is the sweetest person, she always listens to what I want and gets it perfect every time! I love how she manages to make my highlights look so fresh but still amazing as they grow out. The salon is so welcoming and inclusive, all of the staff are warm and friendly, and their pricing is so affordable! I love this place so much!

One of the hard things about moving is finding new people/professionals to work with. I have been a client of Emina's (the owner) for more than 10 years and was thrilled when she opened The Color Lounge closer to my home! I took for granted how well she knew how to cut and color my hair - because she made it look effortless. After 3 tries in my new town, I think - maybe - I've found a good fit. Really miss the wonderful people at the Salon - the whole staff is terrific, and really good at what they do. If Emina wasn't available, I could always rely on CiCi or one of the other stylists. I miss my Lounge!

I have been here & had my hair done with Emina and Borana and they are both fantastic! I love coming here. They really treat you with so much love & make you feel truly cared for, they also really listen to what you want and deliver to your expectations. You can tell that they all really love what they do. I am glad I found this place and can’t wait for my next appt!
