I don’t usually write reviews but I had the very best experience at Julia’s salon and wanted to share! I have been looking for a great salon for years and I have found it! I had my color done by Julia and my cut done by Vasilios. My color looks amazing! It was streaky and the color was cool and almost looked gray blonde and no one could get it right. Julia did! It now looks warm and beautiful and looks so perfect w my complexion! It even has made my eyes look bluer. And my cut is the best I’ve ever gotten! Vasilios kept it long but cut layers in it and it looks amazing😍 I have gotten so many complements! I used to go into the city because no one knows how to cut it correctly until now. The salon is gorgeous and the stylists were so professional and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough

Julia’s salon is outstanding! First off, client service is exceptional. I get my haircut from Vasilios who is a very talented stylist. I’ve been to many highend salons in NYC such as Oscar Blandi, Sally Hersberger, Warren Tricomi and John Varvatos and nobody has cut and styled my hair as great as Vasilios at Julia’s salon & Co. in Darien. He’s very precise, detailed, and in the end, delivers a gorgeous cut and beautiful layers framing my face. In addition to his great skill and talent I also get my hair colored and highlighted by Julia herself. I’m a brunette and it takes great skill and talent to get my brunette hair colored perfectly with just the right amount of highlights which turns into a beautiful golden light brown. Recently visited Julia’s salon for a color correction, highlight & hair cut and couldn’t have been more pleased. From the hospitable welcome & amenities offered to the friendliness from each staff member. My color was done by Julia herself. She took my brassy, orangey blonde hair and turned it into the perfect ashy blonde look I was looking for. Vasilios styled my hair and managed to keep the length I’ve been working on while giving me an extremely complimenting cut that was as beautifully styled in the salon, but was also very manageable to style myself at home. I have visited a few salons in CT in search for my new place, and I’ve definitely found it. Do not book anywhere else!

I have been having my hair highlighted for almost 30 years now - I've been everywhere, including in Manhattan where I lived for 10 years. I have not been able to find anyone since leaving nyc and went to Julia's on a whim. Not only did she do an absolutely incredible job with the most natural highlights, cut and hydration treatment but she and her staff were probably the kindest bunch of people I've ever encountered in a salon. On a scale of 1-10 I give Julia's an 11. You can trust me - quality of service and experience are top tops. Thank you, Julia's Salon!!
