I went to Clover nails based on a Tik tok recommendation - the original poster of the video said Clover Nails is the best but all their clients keep leaving ... NOW I KNOW WHY .. If you've ever gotten a dip manicure, you know there's a specific process. Unfortunately, the technician doing my nails clearly didn't. Instead of saying she didn't know how to do it, I sat there for over an hour while she kept dipping my nails directly into the red powder -- with no primer or bonding agent -- and then painted over them with a clear coat that actually wiped most of the powder off. She repeated this 2-3 times per nail before removing whatever didn't stick and starting again. By the end, I had clumps of red powder stuck under my nails, and my fingers were stained bright red when I walked out. Just

I cannot say enough good things about Sarah, the owner of Clover Nails. She is truly one of the kindest, sweetest people (and I've lived in NYC for 14 years and have not experienced this kind of hospitality). From the moment you walk in, she makes you feel genuinely cared for — there’s a warmth to her that feels almost motherly, and incredibly sincere. Her energy is pure angel energy. On top of all of that, Clover Nails is very reasonably priced and consistent. Sarah is warm, reliable, and genuinely caring. I’m so grateful to have found her, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.Highly, highly recommend.

I’m extremely unhappy with my nails. The lady who did my nails clearly didn’t know what she was doing and her hands were shivering the whole time. I highly suggest the owner to hire someone who knows the trend and what they are doing. My shape is horrible, color is uneven and bumpy, French tip is not even a French tip. Upon telling her to fix the shape, she was over confident and said it’s okay. The lady at the front desk was sweet, I still tipped 20% for the effort but if they wanna stay in business they should hire someone who is professional and knows the job. Please think before you come here for nails

This is literally the worst manicure I’ve had in my life. They are lumpy, not fully opaque, not painted up to cuticles so they look like they are a week old already, and she butchered my actual nails by filing the sides in. I’m going to lose all of my length when I take this off because of the butchering she did with the file. I don’t even know how to describe how totally she wrecked my nails. These were plain white gel nails how hard is that to mess up.

I get a gel manicure here every few weeks and love it! Pedicure here is also great!! Super polite staff, always very diligent, and the result is always perfect! Neighorhood staple!
