Cloud9 Massage and Wellness

This might be the second time I’ve reviewed this place but I don’t care, they deserve every positive review they get! I’ve seen several therapists here over the years and each one is excellent (special shoutout to Megan and Joy). Go see them—it’s truly the best massage you will get!

I’ve been getting massages her for several years. There are options for Thai, and Swedish, and deep tissue. I usually get the latter, currently with Joy.

I’m conflicted as I write this review. Every part of me wants to gatekeep this place, but it’s just too good not to spread the word! I’ve been receiving deep tissue massages for the past 9 years, averaging 8-12 massages per year. I’ve received massages from sole-practitioners, small businesses, Massage Envy, Elements, hotel massages, a beachside massage in Aruba, and even a Turkish bath massage in Istanbul. But the best massage I’ve ever received, hands down, is from Nita at Cloud9 Massage & Wellness in Somerville’s Teele Square. For context, I work out 5 days a week, averaging 2-3 hours per day. I do a combination of weight lifting and cardio. On top of this, I’m a Preschool teacher, always on my feet, picking up the little ones, and squatting to change diapers and apply countless Band-

Had an excellent signature massage with Joy! They had excellent technique that really loosened up my tents lower back and upper shoulders. Would strongly recommend folks to come in for a deep tissue massage and with hot stones!

We had a fantastic couples massage here. In just an hour appointment, they worked out a bunch of painful tension knots across our backs and necks. Great pressure and stretches. We left feeling so much relief!
