The business is well run. It is clean and efficiently run. They have a big screen TV that they run videos on so you have an option to past you waiting time. The technicians are very skilled and do a great job of trimming your hair as you want it. They are excellent.

Fantastic haircuts! Other shops in town are dirty, ran down, and only looking to cash in on Marines. Clippers and Shears is Clean and friendly. Barbers take their time to make sure your haircut looks great. No typical jacksonville 4 dollar barracks cuts here, only quality service at a competitive price. I would highly recommend anyone to visit, and make them your regular barbers.

I only gave 1 star because I couldn't give 0. I have gone there two times and had a different barber each time with the same lousy results. Each time I asked for a Marine medium reg and take some off the top. In this town, that should be simple. Instead, I then had to explain the haircut to them for 10 minutes. After that, they do a nice job on the fade but absolutely butcher the top. Both times they left me with my hair plastered down with water and I couldn't tell how bad it was in the mirror but as soon as I walked out and put my hands through it, it is immediately apparent that one side sticks so far out that I have to go home and cut it myself. The guy also charged me $12 instead of the posted price of $10. Then, to top it all off, it is cash only and if you want to use a card

Best barber shop in town. Staff is always friendly. There is a nice seating area with three TVs and they always have a movie playing to watch as you wait. If you bring your children they will change it to an appropriate movie immediately if necessary. Be prepared to spend at least an hour, great haircuts draw crowds and take time.
