Vanessa is an incredible stylist who genuinely wants to make you feel and look good. She will give honest opinions about your hair and what style will look best- I truly trust her with my hair. You're not going to find a better price for a woman's haircut in the Arlington area. I always feel fearless and confident coming out her salon! Parking is limited in this area so it's best to walk to this location.

I found Vanessa on Google and decided to give her a try, and I’m so glad I did! She listened to exactly what I wanted and completely nailed it. My haircut came out even better than I expected, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend her

Lesson learnt. Never to blindly trust good reviews. I decided to try this place based on good reviews & to support small business. Overall bad haircut & bad experience. Vanessa was plain rude the whole time. From my observations, if you’re white, she’ll go all out to please you but if you’re not, that’s too bad. Waited almost 40 mins, despite making an appointment in advance(No apologies given). Will never return. I would rather pay more ($100++) at my regular salon to get better experience & professional service. Never again supporting small neighborhood business.

This review has nothing to do with Vanessa as a person as there is no doubt that she is kind and a hard worker. I've been coming here for the last ~2 years. I had absolutely no issue for the first year or so when coming to get the same haircut. We essentially got to a point where she wouldn't really have to ask what I wanted (although I would still remind her). Where in lies the problem is the last 6 months to a year. There have been multiple occasions in which I scheduled an appointment, I would show up and someone is either in the seat for another ~20 minutes, or someone is waiting and gets seated before me. Depending on the client she has before me, there have been times I waited upwards of 45 minutes even with an appointment. I understand things happen and delays occur throughout the

Vanessa is so so good at what she does!!! It is rare to find a stylist that actually brings an inspo picture to life but also teaches how to style the new look going forward.
