CK Nails

Horrible place. Overcharged for a horrible job ($70). Every nail is crooked and not shaped well at all. She cut my finger 3 different times. I told her I want super square and she even asked me if I wanted sharp corners which was not done. They look like uneven coffin and she kept telling me they would get wider which spoiler they did not. My friend also got a pedicure and they told him to keep the supplies she used on him and keep it for next time he comes in??? Besides that Grace did a really really good job on the pedicure but Joyce was not good.

ZERO COMPASSION!!! TL;DR: I had an appointment, got run over by a truck, called to cancel on my way to the ER so they could open the spot for another client, was told by management I was still going to charged the cancelation fee anyways. They did not end up charging me, but only after I made this review. I was going to be a 1st time client tonight (30 January) & had an appointment booked this evening for a pedicure, but two hours before my appointment I was run over by a pickup truck. I tried to be a good client & cancel my appointment while I was on the way to Frederick Health so they could open their slot back up, and while the young lady who answered felt terrible, she checked with her manager to confirm I would still be charged the cancelation fee because, "you were informed

I had an amazing experience here at CK nails with Grace! Unlike ALL the other nail salons I have gone to, she actually didn't try to rip me off. I got a builder gel refill from her. The way she did it, it seemed to me like she did a builder gel full set, because she was so thorough. She took her time and her work was perfect. She was straightforward, did an amazing job and I will always return to her. Great experience!

I went to Margaret the first time and she is a lovely person and did a wonderful job. I should have just stuck with her, but she wasn’t available on the day I needed an appointment so I went to Joyce (Who destroyed my long, natural, thick nails). She did not want to trim my cuticles at all, but when I asked her to cut them a few times, she kept doing them with a Dremel. So much so that my nails became paper thin. I went back to her a second time and asked her to not Dremel my nails because they became extremely thin and all broke off very deep. So instead, she started taking a nail file and just filing the hell out of every nail bed. I have been going to the same nail salon for about 20 years and they were booked. I really wanted my dip powder holiday nails removed. I am typically just a pedi only person but thought I would try them for Xmas.This place is close to my home so I called last minute on a Saturday and they fit me in late in the day. Mr Ten ( owner) was so kind and Rose did a wonderful job! She took great care and time in removing my dip powder nails and I am so thrilled with the treatment I received!! Now my natural nails have grown some and I might just start getting Mani’s now😊 Thank you so very much for the very kind and courteous service. I highly recommend you give this place a try, you won’t regret it!!
