Chung's Barber Shop

My experience is based solely on two haircuts by a young dude named Simon. Without exaggeration, they are some of the best haircuts I've ever gotten anywhere. Pretty much perfect, really, and it didn't take him very long. And for twenty bucks! I didn't think that a 20-dollar haircut existed, much less an excellent one like his. The other shops up and down West Broad that I've been to were at least 30 to 39 bucks and nowhere near as good. Talk about a pleasant surprise...

Literally the best experience I have ever had at a barbershop nowadays it's very affordable for the best service. They do the first part of the cut and then they take you over to give you a hair wash. If you have a beard they do shaving cream and a hot towel over your face mini massage. Straight razor your lines another hot towel I can't get enough of this place. I'm in Philadelphia pa my girls fam lives in the Richmond area and one of the things I look forward too is going to change to get my hair cut when we visit 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for the most relaxing 30 min of your life!!!

I had a bad haircut experience somewhere else two weeks ago. So coming here was to fix it. I mentioned I didn't want much hair taken from the back my head. He said ok and nodded his head in agreement. However, within a few minutes, large amounts of hair came off my head. When I addressed him, he gave a blank look. I discovered he ONLY spoke his native language. He asked his co-worker what I was saying. Overall he did a nice job, but, if he doesn't understand and speak English, WHY IS HE CUTTING HAIR? This job position requires interacting with the public and having clear communication.

My women and I went in for haircuts. They have pictures on their website of beautiful haircuts and styles on women. They must all be fake. I doubt there "stylists" even have licenses. They can't understand English and they can't cut hair. My grandson could have done a better job. I tipped them $20. What a joke! All be warned. I hardly ever write bad reviews but this place definitely deserves it!!

I pulled up and saw a lot of people sitting inside. I decided to call to see how long the wait was. The man that answered the phone said there was no wait, so I went in to see for myself. When I got inside he told me to sit down with the other 10 people that were waiting. Don't lie to to your customers. In this case it was a potential customer. I might give him another shot but pretty messed up to lie.
