Sarah cut my hair and did an amazing job… again. I’ve been to so many barbers that just want to get people in and out as fast as possible but she’s not that kinda stylist. Tell her what you want and she is going to take her time and pay attention to the small details that turn a “decent haircut” into the reason you get your next date or maybe even luckier than that. Professional, welcoming environment while being chill at the same time. Love Chubbys and everyone that works there. I don't even normally leave reviews but went out of my way for this one because I love this place so much and have never had a bad experience. Props to Sarah and the entire Chubbys staff.

This is the best barbershop ! My son started getting haircuts at one and a half . Booking with Chris was the best decision of my life. my son is three years old now, and he sits by himself and gets his haircut . Chris trained my son how to act while getting a haircut. He is very, very patient and kind. My son feels the love every single time we go. The treats at the end is what my son looks forward to. So proud of this black owned business! Bastrop is blessed to have you guys! Very clean & the vibes are always great. This makes being a boy mom a little easier! No fault of the young barber, but a high and tight or "white wall" is not what I received. The fade was well done, but I was in a hurry to get somewhere that morning that I accepted it. I will go back and get another cut when I return from Maine. The customer service is great and has a good conversationalist. I tend to be a quiet person and prefer the silence, but the young man did well to get me to open up initially.

Marlon did a great job! I’ve been coming to Bastrop to visit my family since I was a kid and I still love this place! I booked an appointment with Marlon and he did a great job on my hair. He was very cordial, initiated great conversation, and shared a bit about his story. I will definitely be back here again when I come back to visit family soon.
