Chopz Salon

Cara was great. Listened to all my wants and concerns and I love how my hair turned out. Very Friendly. The salon itself is cute/clean and full of nice people. I've added pictures of the highlights in all types of lighting!

It's taken me a couple weeks to decide if I wanted to share my experience but I think it's important to warn people who are coming here for the first time. To start off, I just moved to MD this year and have been looking for a new hair stylist. I eventually made an appointment with this salon because I seen they had decent reviews and the prices weren't outrageous. However, when I made appointments for myself, my sister and my niece for a fun girls day, we showed up, checked in, and the desk receptionist had walked to the back and never came back out. Eventually, who I assume was a manager, came out and told us ALL THREE appointments were canceled and the stylists weren't there. I should've known at this point we should've just found somewhere else to go as this was already really unpro

Really sweet people but unfortunately bad outcome on the service. I went for a big chop and a split dye hair color look. I already have long blonde hair. Huge change for me, and I came in being really chill about everything they wanted to do. I cut 6 inches off my hair into a short “bob” and the cut was really bad.. uneven all over. Thankfully I was able to come in a get it fixed asap by Christina and it was what I wanted afterwards. I got home and I was messing around with hair styles and noticed how uneven and “choppy” my highlights were on the blonde side. I can’t do half up half down without it being really noticeable. Cute salon, nice stylist, just overall disappointed with my hair.

This place is amazing and so comfortable!! I will always come back! 10/10 recommend. Kate is my girl she does an amazing job.

This was my 3rd time at chopz and I’ll never go anywhere else. My first time was with Christina, who is super sweet and does amazing work. My 2 other appointments were with Cara and her attention to detail is a big reason why I keep coming back. It’s so hard to find someone you trust with your hair but you can’t go wrong with Cara or Christina.
