Chop Shop

Great Concept, Poor Execution Driving past the Chop Shop Salon, the building immediately grabbed my attention. The salon is brilliantly located in a former mechanic shop, complete with bay doors. The amount of detail and creativity put into converting the space are evident everywhere, right down to the stylists pet. While the stylist was finishing up with another client, I couldn't help but admire the work. The salon’s aesthetic is one-of-a kind, combining a unique retro-rock-and-roll theme complete with a vintage jukebox and band. Once she was free and finally acknowledged I had been waiting to speak to someone, I explained my situation. I just needed a quick beard trim and didn't mind who performed the trim. This was hands down the best experience I have ever had getting my hair done. The shops decor/style was awesome, Sam did a fabulous job dying and cutting my hair and the conversation (Chefs kiss). Normally I feel out of my element in salons, like “I am not turtley enough for the turtle club” but at the chop shop I felt like I fit in and was treated like I did. I will most definitely return
