I’m convinced many stylists here simply don’t know how to cut hair properly—including this salon. It seems the default is always a bob, no matter what the client asks for. Not everyone wants to look decades older than they are, especially when paying premium prices. I asked for a wolf cut—straightforward, choppy, point-cut texture. I even showed two reference photos: one with curls for length only, and another with straight hair to show the texture. I made it clear which was for what, yet I still ended up with a stacked bob that even the stylist admitted looked “old lady-ish.” She blamed my hair texture, though this style gained popularity in Asia where most people have very straight hair. Absolutely the best hairdresser! My wife who is a former Cumberland County senior Queen looks twenty years younger. Janelle was asked to work her magic and did she ever. The complements from strangers is amazing. Even had a hairdresser wanting Janelle's name so she could style her hair. Janelle's talent, has created a huge positive impact on my wife's activities. Janelle charged me $240 for highlights and a cut on short hair, shorter than my shoulders. She seemed angry at her husband who works along side her in the salon all day. There was an uncomfortable tension the entire time. But $240? Absolutely ridiculous.

I cannot recommend this business enough! My husband goes to Fidel to get his hair faded and always comes out looking great! I went and got my hair done for the first time ever and got baby lights. Janelle was very knowledgeable and does amazing work! I came out feeling confident and beautiful! I took my 3yo daughter to Janelle to get her hair cut/trimmed for the first time ever. She did so good with her!

I’m really picky about my haircuts, I want it done right the first time and Fidel faded my hair perfectly, so good I already booked an appointment for next time. Will definitely be recommending him to anyone I know. Thanks Fidel!
