Chaz Dean Studio ✂

Just got my first cut today with Gabino and also had my first experience at Chaz Dean Studio. Frankly, I am kicking myself for not coming in here sooner. I'm not the kind of guy that's very good about articulating what I want to do with my hair, nor do I have a lot of patience for styling. But of course, I want to look good. That has generally annoyed most new stylists when I start with them. Gabino was the opposite. He really took the time to explain things, discuss different ideas he had about what he could do with my hair, asked me how I felt about different things, etc. Then as he went along, kept discussing different choices he was making, options I had in terms of how to style, different products to use, with and without the hair dryer, etc. I got a great cut and learned thongs too!

Special thank you to Zach Gabriel for making my first time here so welcoming and special. As a guy, this was only my second time in an actual salon, and now I don’t think I’ll be returning to a regular barbershop anytime soon. Zach took his time to insure a perfect fade and now my hair has never looked better. My service also included highlights, which were also done meticulously. Zach was friendly and great to talk to. He also had an assistant during my service (she was also very sweet). It was so nice to see his professionalism and willingness to mentor junior staff. Love my new hair and can’t wait to return.

Gaby is an amazing colorist! My daughter was off to college and had her hair done by Gaby, and it looked phenomenal! Gaby was so sweet and very professional. She listened to my daughter and what my daughter wanted to achieve with her hair. My daughter felt heard. Asked my daughter to bring in some photos of what she would like her hair to look like and actually did a thorough consultation with her for the best outcome. Gaby did such a great job that I ended up booking an appointment for myself. I've now gone back twice. Gaby has colored and cut my hair and has done a phenomenal job. I've gotten so many compliments and love the color so much. If Gaby's schedule allows, you should definitely try to get an appointment with her.
