Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery

I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Strauss, he was wonderful. He thoroughly explained the procedure and was overall very pleasant. That being said, the office personal is not. I paid $5,000 for a procedure my wife needed. On the day of the procedure we were informed that only part of the procedure could be completed. I asked for a refund and was told I could not receive a refund until my insurance was billed and payment had been issued to them. The total cost of the procedure without insurance was $3000. They refused to even refund the $2000 that wasn’t owed to them. Fast forward, everything processed through the insurance and I am owed a refund of $3400. I requested it refunded to the credit card I used. I was told it would take 5-7 days. This was on November 11th. I called yesterd

When I went in for my consultation Brandi made me feel very comfortable. I did my consultation with Dr. Strauss, he thoroughly explained everything he would do for my dental implants. I was on the fence about going under for the surgery, he said did I want a good experience, or a great experience, I chose the great experience. I went in for my surgery today and again they helped me to be very comfortable, and I’m so glad I chose to be put under. When I woke up it was done and having minimal pain later the same day. Dr. Strauss was wonderful as well as his whole staff. Thank you all for a GREAT experience! Terry

I had such a great experience! Stephanie was awesome — she made me feel really comfortable from start to finish and took the time to go over everything clearly. The surgeon was also great and made me feel at ease during the whole procedure. Everything went smoothly, and I felt well taken care of. Definitely recommend this team!

Very friendly staff except the front desk. Dr. Strauss is exceptional!! The level of care and ease I received was amazing. My recovery was smooth, and the results were outstanding. I am incredibly grateful and would recommend him without hesitation.

I was in office yesterday to have a consultation and wisdom teeth extracted. The young lady at the front desk seemed pleasant enough, in a sense that she was just doing her job. Where the appointment started to seem off was when she had me sign the consent for surgery at the front desk, before talking with the surgeon. For those that don't know you ARE NOT supposed to do that. You are supposed to talk to the surgeon FIRST so they can explain what the plan is, possible risk, answer any questions, etc then after you have a full understanding then you sign the consent. Because this step was taken out of order, I think is the reason that I waited in the waiting room for over an hour, watching patient's that came after me go back to their consultations before me. When I finally did get call
