C’est Lamour Nail (Main Street - Newhall Crossing)

I’ve been a loyal customer of C’est L’amour Nail Salon since they opened their Newhall location and have experienced a range of service levels over time. Today, I scheduled an appointment for a basic manicure and an upgraded pedicure (Sea Breeze). I was told they had a 4:30 PM opening and that the same technician would perform both services back-to-back. I was given an estimated service time of about 1.5 hours, depending on the pedicure package I selected. I arrived early at 4:14 PM and was seated promptly. Went to the Newhall location for the first time for a Bella pedicure. My technician was An. The Bella pedicure includes callus treatment, scrub, paraffin, and hot towel wrap on your legs. $51 She did not cut any of the cuticle, swiped the nails with a file once after cutting them and not filing. She went to the back and got the Bella treatment items including the hot towels. She then proceeded with the callus treatment which was alright. She proceeded to the scrub and washed my feet. She then added oil on top of my feet and put my foot in a bag with paraffin that did not cover my foot completely. Then she loudly wrapped cold wet towels around my ankles. The slopped on the polish thick snd did not cover the entire nail leaving ridges. Very disappointed with the sloppy job.

I went to this nail salon yesterday at 4:30pm asking for acrylics and pedi. They finished my nails by 6:30-7 pm. Once the lady doing my nails realized that a WALK IN was waiting for her by 5:30 or so (I booked an actual freaking appointment), she tried to speed up the process and didnt do exactly what I wanted. I told her and repeated how I wanted but she didnt understand so I left it. I wanted to get them done for vacation for today- I just got here and as I was putting lotion on, GENTLY, and the nail on my pinky came completely off. I spent $150 for 2 mani & 2 pedis. My sister, who I took with me, also did not enjoy this experience. There are no nail salons where I am for vacation, no way to fix it. $150 and it only lasted 25-26 hours 🙃 I do not recommend. Their pedicures are good and they last me a while. But I got a gel manicure for the first time here and was widely disappointed. I’m not sure if they use cheap product or if the product didn’t cure properly? But I got a gel manicure last Friday and it’s barely been a week since and I’ve had 5 nails fully peel off. Not even chip l, fully peeled off in one solid piece. I truly have never had a gel manicure last this short of time :(

Been a couple times with the family and it was ok, but this time i took the wife and baby for early valentine's day. My Feet were not done properly so I pointed it out the front desk girl and asked for something to be fixed she kinda blew me off so I had SUPER WIFE expain... the girl paid no attention and said huh I wasn't paying attention...After being told the problem again she stated we are backed up!!! (There was two other people in the store). Feet never really got fixed and I feel when you are asking for that much money for a service you should do the service right and listen to the paying customer....
