They do good work but the food is nasty unhealthy, not flavorful, it looks like it's been scraped out of a dumpster and served to poor people
Wonderful volunteers. The food served is filling and tastes like it's made with compassion.
Dorothy Day is an example of a true Christian, someone whose Catholic faith in Christ actually changed the way she lived. Catholic Worker is a great example of the effect she had. Volunteered here in 2010. Amazing Legacy of the works of Mercy. God bless the CWs still here!
Have spent many times there at house hope to get back there in March
