Castle Nails

When I walked in I was told to go pick out a color before they even knew what I wanted done. I just wanted white French tips. Kevin is who done my nails. I asked for short nails, My nails are not short! They are REALLY crooked and uneven. I will not be going back!!

The guy at seat 1 was obviously already in a bad mood, being rude and acting like I was a test dummy. The cuticles were flooded like crazy and there’s paint all down the sides. My friend and I asked for the same thing and somehow my nails were $70 while hers were $55 and mine were only slightly longer than hers. Neither of us understood why at all and when I asked why he said they were different when we asked for the same thing. I’ve given them so many opportunities to do better but they just get worse every time. Definitely shouldn’t have to pay so much when you always have to go back and/ or fix them yourself. Used to be my favorite nail salon but they have gone downhill drastically over the last 2 years.

I’ve been trying all the nail places in town to see which one I like. This has by far been the worst. I had a similar experience on here as one of the other reviewers. Went in just for a fill and lady told me I needed a whole new set. I had just had them done at another place a week prior. The vibes in this place are tense and not comfortable at all. Also, the new set I was told needed done is awful. My nails are unusually Thick and the sides weren’t filed down enough. Go here if you want to experience liars and an uncomfortable space. Pics of my nails attached to show how thick they are. 0/5 do not recommend. Hollywood nails is better if you are looking for recommendations:)

I have gotten my nails done here multiple times and they usually always do a wonderful job. But I went in today to get my nails filled and some replaced. The woman took the paint off and proceeded to tell me I needed a new full set that mine were no hood. Mind you I had gotten them done by this place 2 weeks prior, i then was frustrated and annoyed. The woman doing my nails was honestly trying to be gentle and took her time but it was still absolutely painful having nails ripped off. So I got a new set and I decided to do matte top coat it’s now been a few hours and it’s chipping off. I have never been so disappointed in this place. Honestly sad.

Usually Castle is my go to nail salon in Vincennes, but this time I was super disappointed. I asked for a kiss design (pictures below) and my results are also pictures below. I also asked for almond shaped and they are more stiletto shaped. She was definitely in a rush to get my nails done. I went back the next day and got my accent nails fixed and the guy who fixed them didn’t seem like he was trained properly but still made up for the previous design.
