As a longtime customer at Westfield Century City and a lover of paella, I was super-excited for the opening of Casa Dani. It occupies the old Gulfstream spot in the front of the mall, though the ambiance is now much cozier and more intimate. Love the open kitchen and abundance of partial booth seating. The artificial olive tree, under which they ladle olives from large jars, stands impressively in the center of the restaurant. Creates quite a romantic setting at night. As of this writing, we’ve been here four times and have must-have orders such as the Tuna Porterhouse Carpaccio (comes with a bit of a show) and the Iberico ham croquettes. Our fave paella, the game hen, has been rotated off the menu, but the 16 oz. Australian wagyu ribeye is also superb! If you think you’ve had great paell

Casa Dani is a beautiful hidden gem tucked inside Westfield Century City. With its ambient lighting and funky, upbeat music, it feels surprisingly local — not gimmicky, and certainly not like a typical mall restaurant. Every dish was flavorful and robust, offering exciting new combinations while still feeling comfortingly familiar. The grilled avocado and tomato tartare were absolute standouts — fresh, balanced, and memorable. Our server, Christianne, was simply amazing. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate, she elevated the entire experience. I’d happily come back just to see her again — and to explore more of the menu.

A ton of great dishes - the oxtail brioche, tomato tartare, garlic shrimp, Caesar salad, and croquetas were all hits. Service by Eugenio was fantastic. The staff was very accommodating of my wife’s allergies and our stroller. Will be back for the paella!

When we arrived for our reservation for the Valentines Day prix fixe menu, there was no one at the host stand, so we proceeded to the front door, thinking there might be one inside (there was no sign saying to wait there). Just when I opened the door, a woman came from nowhere behind us in the open area of the mall and confrontationally asked where we were going. It turns out she was the hostess - I'm not sure if she was trying to get her shopping in, or what, but it was very off-putting. Shortly after another host also appeared from the mall rather than from inside the restaurant. Weird, but ok. The ambiance inside is pleasant, if a bit uninspired. There are no partitions or dividers to break up the space, so noise travels and amplifies. The tables are very close together, so you feel pa

Had a reservation for a Saturday night. All their seafood dishes are extremely fresh, most was almost sweet! Great meal & great atmosphere. Waiter was very engaging and listened to all our requests & commentary to a T.
