Capelli Salon

This was my first time visiting Capelli Salon — so they set me with Carmen Barinas to have my roots covered and an overall toner treatment. Carmen was excellent — very conscientious about what shade of red I wanted for my toner and making sure the dye on the baby-fine hairs near my face didn’t dye my skin. I appreciate that. And I was so happy when she said her goal was to make the toner treatment in my hair shine with fire in the sun. Yes! That’s exactly what I want to have happen! Although I didn’t get a haircut this visit, Carmen styled my hair —at my request— with beach waves and a 1960s flip to my long bangs. Very cool!! Overall Carmen was friendly and welcoming (pretty important the first time you visit a salon). I would definitely visit this salon and Carmen again.

I’m new to Boston and have been needing a haircut for a while! I am sooo happy that I came across Capelli Salon because it was honestly a great experience. Right off the bat, the receptionist was so sweet—she showed me where to sit and offered me water. Anyways, back to the haircut. I have wavy, thick hair, and salons are always a hit or miss for me. Yesterday was most definitely a hit! I got my hair cut by Luzia Lopez, and she did such an amazing job. Plus, she is honestly a vibe! She reminded me of home and did a great job styling and cutting my hair exactly the way I wanted. Her bio on the booking site says she has experience with wavy and curly hair, and she also speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish. If you are in need of a good haircut, you should go to her!! Truly the best salon I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is welcoming, the work is flawless, and the results speak for themselves. My hair always looks healthy, styled perfectly, and exactly what I asked for (if not better). You can tell how much care and expertise goes into every appointment. Worth every penny.

I went to Capelli Salon for a haircut and really liked it. The haircut was done very well and professionally. I asked for layers and styling, and the stylist did a great job. They listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had a good experience and would recommend this salon.
