Carla expertly sculpted my challenging hair and the result was--truly--THE BEST HAIRCUT I’VE EVER HAD. I have extremely straight, fine, and thick hair--very hard to layer into the bowl cuts and pixies that I love. Without the money to spend at a high end salon, I’ve just come to accept a level of choppiness. Well no more! I thought the haircut was great halfway through, but she made it perfect--even staying at it past closing. I also appreciated that she explained to me why she was using certain techniques based on my hair type and desired style. She is an artist that takes pride in her craft. One of the weirdest and worst hair cuts I’ve had. Honestly wonder if the reviews are fake. Had to go to another barber to get it fixed. I presented a picture and some guidelines for the sides (use a 6). She didn’t really ask follow-up questions. For the sides she used clippers with a comb (no guard). Fine but now the sides are uneven and still long. She did the top with a comb and buzzer, which makes it impossible to get even length. As a result, the middle of my head is short and the front and sides are longer. The first time she asked if it was cut enough it was 1. Still long. 2. Lopsided. She also spent about 1/3 the time trying to get her stereo to work. I understand that not having music is annoying but she spent more time on that than asking what kind of cut I want. Second shop

Carla is amazing and great. Terrific hair cut. One of the best. The hairline is absolutely perfect all the way around my ears and the back of my head. However, you'll have to be direct with some stuff or she'll keep going. Meaning, she'll shave off your bear, cut off your sideburns, so be explicit. Also, be prepared for her to talk and talk. I had to zone out multiple times.
