Cadle's Barber Shop

I'm glad to hear some folks find Cadle Cooper to be friendly. My experience was different. Back in 2003 or 2004, I tried him out. I was driving a Ford pickup truck. He teased me about that. I dismissed it. Some folks like to tease about their favorite make of truck or basketball team. NBD. Then he told me one of his favorite pasttimes is to throw coins on the sidewalk to see who would stoop to pick them up. Just mentioning it made him laugh and laugh. Okay. Not my idea of fun. But this guy has sharp cutting instruments near my neck. I'll let it slide. Then, elaborating on this odd thing that he does for fun, he made it clear which race of folks stooping gave him the most pleasure. He was the only one in the shop laughing. I've never been back.

Not only do you get a great haircut, but you hear locals gab about Pittsboro. It's a genuine, old fashioned barber shop, not many of them are still around.

Once again, I am groomed. In and out, 15 minutes. Cadle clipped whole noggin using a #1 guard. Trimmed my eyebrows and shaved the neck and around the ears, all the while, I think he covered about 7 different topics in conversation. Remarkable experience. Do visit, you won’t be disappointed.

I can always get in and out very quickly. The haircuts are consistently better than those I've found in the area, and cheaper too. Another hidden gem in Pittsboro!

Mr.Cooper will give you a $50 haircut for $15 in 15 minutes. I had a wonderful experience with him and don't see why I would ever go anywhere else! Great experience!
