By Shear Design Hair Studio and Spa provides hair cuts, color, nail and skin care services for men and women. The interior space is bright and colorful and the staff is warm and welcoming. Over the years, I've been to several hair salons in Burke, McLean, and Springfield, but was never quite satisfied with the cut, color, or highlights I received. The last colorist I went to burned hair off the top and side of my head and that experience kept me away from hair salons for eight years. Tired of cutting my own hair with less than stellar results, I researched neighborhood hair salons and decided to make an appointment for a hair cut at By Shear Design.
