Burke Barber

Really liked the old decor with the live plants, fountain, and programming on the TVs. The barbers still do a great job, but the atmosphere seems sterile. 4 stars for the staff and cost. -1 for the minimalist appearance. Cost is a good value plus a decent tip.

My son and I decided to try out this barber shop this morning for the first time, which was a big move on my part because I am pretty particular about who cuts my hair. But I was tired of driving 25 minutes one way to the nearest military base just to get a haircut when this business was just right down the road from us. Needless to say, I was super impressed. The lady who cut my hair took her time and it was one of the best haircuts I have ever received. The gentlemen who cut my son’s hair was just as thorough and did a great job giving him a clean look. Was also impressed with how they greeted every customer that walked through the door. The best part for me was the straight razor that was used on my neck to clean it up. I've been getting my haircut here for years, and they're great! Haven't had a single haircut I wasn't happy with. This is exceptional as I have a lot of trouble explaining what I want. They are able to get to you pretty quickly. When they're completely full, I haven't had to wait more than fifteen minutes. They have nice chairs to sit on while you wait, along with magazines and even a TV! At $20 for a basic haircut, it's an incredible deal. I'll be continuing my patronage as long as I live nearby. I'd definitely recommend them.
