Please avoid this business at all cost. This braiding salon is unprofessional. I went to get my hair done by one of the African braiders and my hair ended up stiff. It was as if the braid could snap. I could not put my hair up in one and it was very heavy. Ms.Judy did not offer a solution and told me there is nothing she can do. The braider also complained the whole time doing my hair that she did not like my braiding hair as well as always on the phone. I do not recommend, do not let the instagram photos fool you. I was asked for a picture of what my desired style was and I gave it off from the hair page instagram and I did not receive the exact thing I wanted. I’m used to 6 packs of hair in my head and the dresser put 9 pack !!! For medium braids which resulted in multiple headaches.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BUSINESS AS A WHOLE! Reported the service about how badly my hair is by their braider, Fatima, to the owner of this company to only waste my time and money all together. Really thought as a black owner of a business you would run it professionally and accordingly; however she did not take accountability to this dissatisfying service I was given by both Fatima nor Judy. Not worth setting an appointment with!

I went to Braids Noir today and got my hair done I was very happy with my hair, and the warm atmosphere from the people who work there. Mariah did a great job on my hair I will be going back to see her again and the owner Judy is really sweet, we hit it off right Away. Great customer service I would definitely recommend this place..

excellent service from my first call to the finished service. Jody was responsive to schedule what I wanted after other places never got back to me, stylist was so pleasant and ended up with just what I wanted for a fair price. will be back

I booked an appointment 1 MONTH IN ADVANCE just for her to turn me away THE MORNING OF because I had my 2 toddlers with me during an pandemic when childcare services are few would not even ACCOMMODATE. Seemed stuck on just saying NO TACKY AND UNPROFESSIONAL I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND
