@beautifiedby.ny provided an amazing silk press experience from start to finish. The wash was incredibly relaxing—my scalp felt clean, refreshed, and well cared for, with an excellent massage. She was very gentle throughout the service, which I really appreciated. My hair came out super shiny, smooth, and perfectly laid, and the results lasted an entire week with no maintenance or touch-ups needed. This was my first time ever getting my hair braided and Kanisha took exceptional care of me from start to finish. I had a ton of questions and she was incredibly patient, understanding, and thorough in explaining different styles and what would work best for me. Her professionalism and kindness made the whole experience so comfortable and the results speak for themselves! I absolutely love my braids. Afterward, Gary lined me up and took just as much care. The cut was clean, sharp, and finished everything off perfectly. I’m extremely pleased with how it all came out. Kanisha and Gary both did an amazing job and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Gary is an exceptionally skilled barber and consummate professional, and the women in his shop are extremely professional and friendly. The atmosphere is remarkably clean, laid-back, and I appreciate the ambiance. Most importantly, I am impressed with the prices and the high-quality care that everyone provides for your hair. I would definitely recommend visiting this barbershop/ hair salon which serves all hair types.

My niece’s son has been getting braids there for about a year. Gary and Monica have been incredible in squeezing him in when it was needed. He’s always walked away with a great style. It’s unfortunate that there has been all this nonsense on Facebook. It doesn’t make people want to not go there, It just embarrasses the folks that are posting. Stopped by the shop early in the morning for a loc consult. Was able to speak to the owner. He put me in touch with Kanisha (loctician). We spoke about my issue and was booked the same day. Kanisha took good care of me. She had good vibes, didnt feel rushed and was thoroughly satisified with the end product. Will def be back! Update: 1-10-26 1st experience was top notch 2nd and 3rd experience was trash. Book with stylist Monica got changed to Kiki. I booked with Monica because my son was schedule to have his retwist done by her so I wanted to see her skills before having my 6yr old sit in her chair. I was switched to Kiki although when I arrived to the shop Monica was doing someone else hair at the sametime. I she wasnt available then her schedule on the website should uave been updated.
