Evan has been my go to barber for years now at the Hanson shop. I’ve been a client of Bostonian Barbershop since their early beginnings in the shoe loft building. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and perfect cuts every time.

Evan is a walking tattoo encyclopedia with more ink than a squid convention and enough motorcycle stories to fuel a Netflix series. He cuts hair like he’s tuning a vintage Harley — precise, badass, and loud (in spirit, not with clippers). Throw on some hardcore music, and you’re basically at the coolest concert-slash-barber combo you never knew you needed. Then there’s Devin — the human embodiment of “I just ran 10 miles and still wanna party.” This guy’s got tattoos, laughs harder than a hyena on espresso, and somehow makes your haircut feel like a stand-up show. Megan and Dev are incredible and kind to everyone who comes into the Hanson shop. Every one of the barbers makes sure you're enjoying the experience and leaving with a slick cut. I have tried nearly every barber at Bostonians Whitman and Hanson locations, and I have never had a bad haircut at either place. The appointment system made it so much easier to plan a haircut with pretty much zero wait. Good vibes, good conversations, great haircuts.

I went here for the first time after visiting my sister who lives an hour from me. Have never gotten so many compliments about a haircut like I did with one. My beard was shaped perfectly and my hair was just how I like it. Meg did an amazing job and I will definitely be making the hour drive every time
