Bodyworks DW Advanced Massage Therapy – Midtown West

The waiting area is a sanctuary of calm and collection. The receptionist was welcoming and thoughtful. She ensured I was comfortable and relaxed. My Therapist asked all the right questions and then we got to work. The work was wonderful. Focused and skilled massage forced my muscles to relent their “knots”. I know my body did not get into this bad of shape in one day, so I have rebooked knowing that this amazing bodywork will continue.

Andrew was incredible. He listened to me and understood all of the issues that I was having. I so very much appreciated him discussing the various muscles , functions and connections to the rest of the body as he was massaging me. Extremely knowledgeable, I really appreciated the education that I got from him. It was helpful to understand why I was having so much pain in certain areas other than just a blanket "work stress." I also greatly appreciated his recommendations of stretches and exercises to do in the future. Overall, he exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

CHRISTOPHER 🙏 I’m a young dental surgeon that has severe muscle knots in my neck due to a high stress work environment. Christopher is extremely knowledgeable and gives me the relief I need every time. His hands do magic and I’m so grateful I found a therapeutic measure that isn’t invasive (meds, surgery, etc). I’ve tried other therapists at BDW and although they’re all great, everyone has a different touch. I would pick Christopher every time :)

I always try to see Ben when I go (he’s amazing!). He always takes my concerns and different areas of stress into account during the session to ensure that I get the most out of the 60 minutes. I've always supported the Bodyworks model of having the benefits of the massage extend beyond the hour I'm there as opposed to other massages where you feel relaxed but only temporarily. I truly feel like I am getting relief from pain and discomfort that come from the stresses of daily life.

Bottom line anyone but Chris… I’ve worked with over 10 different therapists over many many years and every single one is 11/10 amazing. Chris was the opposite of this. I asked in outlining I had just completed a 12 hour drive and wanted immediate relief for a few specific parts in my back. Also mentioned I am in PT working on some issues for long term improvement. After telling him I don’t want to work on the “underlying issues” or work towards “long term improvement” and that I just need some relief. He argues with me about how underlying issues will bring relief. To which I respond I want to work along my spine, my neck along the spine, and my lower back.
