Body In Mind Massage Institute

My experience at this school was extremely disappointing and deeply upsetting. From the beginning, it felt as though the staff and owner chose favorites and treated others unfairly. Mary threatened me on numerous occasions, telling me she was going to “let her Irish out” on me. These were not idle remarks but aggressive and intimidating attempts to undermine me and my position there. When my mother passed away during my time there, I was denied compassion and support. Instead of allowing me the space to grieve, I was pressured to attend classes and told things like “your mom would want you to be here,” which felt manipulative and deeply insensitive. The teachers were no better. Montana was plainly mean and unsympathetic. Christine demonstrated virtually no empathy and seemed completely

So good I booked three more sessions with the licensed therapists! I’ve already recommended Body in Mind to three people. The spa ambience is relaxing. The student therapist was warm and welcoming. Great massage and helpful tips were exchanged. Can’t wait to come back later this week!

I came across Body In Mind Institute in Toms River when I needed a career change from working in the hospital for the last three years while also training and working with athletes from 7-17 on strength and speed training. The amount of knowledge that these amazing teachers provide for me as a full time day program student is incredible! The layout of the school is easy to navigate and Mary has been exceptionally helpful from the enrollment process and each day . She has an open door policy so she’s always there to help as are the teachers . This experience is one I’m so grateful for and blessed to be a part of.
