Blu Bocker

I am so grateful for Coco for my haircut! It was getting way too long and shaggy, so I explained in detail what I wanted from this haircut, and Coco took the time to listen to my wants, and made suggestions along the way! I decided to get bangs and was nervous, but Coco is so skilled and took her time with every layer and strand of hair. I would trust her with my life. This is my second time at Blu Bocker, the first time with Stone, when she saved me from a truly AWFUL haircut from another salon. Both ladies are so skilled with their tools, managing to sculpt a beautiful style out of very overgrown or butchered hair. Thank you!!

Blubocker is hands-down our favorite spot in the neighborhood. I see Coco, who is incredibly technical. She has a rare talent for understanding head shape and how hair naturally lays, ensuring the cut grows out perfectly. Also, do not skip the head massage—it’s amazing! I always leave the chair feeling happy and refreshed. My partner sees Tetsu, who is equally fantastic. He is highly detailed and very patient, taking the time to make sure everything is perfect. My partner always leaves very happy with the results. Highly recommend both of these talented stylists!

I scheduled a consultation and asked for the Japanese Hair Straightening treatment. My hairstylist Show commented 'Why?' after seeing my naturally curly hair😂 It was nice to be complimented on my hair, and it was the total opposite attitude of many hairstylists in the city who would've just said I needed the treatment. Show was super polite and friendly all throughout. At first after the treatment my hair was still slightly wavy on the bottom left side, but I came back and Show redid that section for free. My hair looks BEAUTIFULLY sleek and straight. Goodie (the friendly dog) roamed around the salon and kept me entertained throughout the 4 hour treatment. Highly recommend this salon! I will be back.

Absolutely love this place. They give amazing color services and haircuts at a very reasonable price especially here in the UES. Safe to say I will not be going anywhere else for my hair coloring or cuts. I’ve had Stone and Tetsu in the past and both are great!

loved the service! coco literally got me the chic layered haircut i’ve been dreaming about. the interior design and music were of great taste. would definitely come back!
