I came in for a manicure, pedicure, both clear, and a chin wax. No complaints re: nails. The massage was nice and everything was painless. At the end, I asked my nail tech for a chin wax. She referred me to someone else, who I mentioned it to, and was taken to the room for waxing. The wax person came in and asked what I wanted and I asked for just a chin wax. I laid back, closed my eyes, and felt hot wax on my upper lip. I don’t wax my face bc it is very sensitive and restated I just wanted a chin wax. After my upper lip, I foolishly closed my eyes again and this time, felt wax right under my bottom lip. As you can see in the pictures, my skin was super irritated and scarred in both places. My chin maintained the four tiny reasons I asked for the wax in the first place so I went and got tw
Got any powder gel nails removed here today, awful service. Filed my nail all the way down instead of scraping it off and my nails are now paper thin. To top it off, she filed down my nails into the ugliest shape without asking. Would leave 0 stars if I could.
VERY rude ladies. Kicked me out of their establishment for no rhyme or reason when I came as a walk in for a gel manicure. I understand if an appointment needs to be made but they did it in the most nasty manner. Last time I came the same lady was rude as well, and the manicure had a cotton ball hair on my nail! She rushed me then and now to choose a color for my nails. I am a model so I have to choose the right color the client wants and no one should feel rushed when they are paying for a service. There is so many other good places to go in Manhattan. They charge $44 for a gel manicure. I don’t normally post bad scathing reviews, however this establishment did it for me! Never coming back again
I got a basic manicure & pedicure. The nail tech was thorough and nice. I like how she did my nails, though this is day 1, I think the polish will hold up a few days. Overall service could have been a little better. I'm used to someone helping me remove the tissue, etc. from my feet and prepare for my exit so my that my nails don't get messed up, as well as offering/assisting me to apply quick dry. Also the owners were arguing loudly at the counter, which was a turnoff, but I will definitely go back.
I had acrylic nails from a different salon and went to get a refill done here after a few weeks, as the nails were still in good shape, just grown out a bit. The woman working was very nice and let me know that they only do dip, not acrylic, but they could do the refill anyway. Less than three days later, the nails were lifting really bad and two had fallen off completely by day five. I'm disappointed and frustrated that I spent so much money.
