Bling Nails

I loved this salon and its staff—until my most recent visit. Unfortunately, that experience was deeply disappointing. I was contemplating if I should leave this honest feedback or not for weeks. During this visit, both nail technicians cut the toe cuticles of both me and my mother, causing bleeding and significant pain. The discomfort lasted for 3 weeks to be exact and I am still concerned about possible infection. This should never happen during a professional pedicure. The manicure itself was just okay. The cuticles were not properly cleaned, and there was visible space between the nail and cuticle. The attached photo was taken only one day after the service and shows the lack of clean detailing. The toe pictures show blood and red swelling a day after getting the service. Small note:

First time at Bling and had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I did a walk-in and they were able to take me right away. The staff (especially Win & Kim) were SO kind & incredibly skilled. They made me feel so comfortable right away. I showed them a Pinterest picture and they executed it flawlessly. The space was clean & had a great atmosphere. Price was incredible! Will absolutely be back!

This place is trash. Racially profiling asking about my personal life. (I had my DAUGHTERS with Me and they look white with blue and grey eyes but I look black with brown eyes..WE ARE MEXICAN MIXED WITH WHITE AND BLACK-MULTIRACIAL) Worse service ever!!! Horrible nail job and pedicure. Expressed unsatisfactory service very politely FOUR times before paying and still they didn’t fix it. Told the guy at checkout and he only offered 10%. Will never go there again. My nails look like grandma nails. The old lady did them l think she’s one of the owners. ***update:the next day the manager called Me asking if I would remove the review and he would refund Me for my services. I actually considered it until they insulted my intelligence by talking very badly of Me when I went to meet the manager and

Unfortunately, I do not live in Austin to revisit the salon to get this corrected, but I booked dip with French tip ($55 on the site) and was told after my service my nails would be $85… because apparently this French is a special design along with I needed my cuticles trimmed some ($10, which wasn’t communicated until I questioned the total). I’m very frustrated considering I got gel polish and it hasn’t been a full week and my nails are already chipping in several places, and quite frankly the precision of the French tip just isn’t there to an additional $20 special design. The salon was clean and staff is nice, but could have done a much better job being transparent about pricing if I obviously booked the wrong service for the look I was trying to achieve.

I have truly enjoyed coming to Tammy! I stopped getting my nails done, because I could not find someone I liked. I am a “short, square, natural color”girl. To me it’s in the details for my simple style to shine. Tammy always delivers! She does a fabulous job in shape, cuticle work, down to her polishing skills. I highly recommend. She does not disappoint! Thank you Tammy!
