Pretty big parking lot. Went there 3 times, was always able to find a spot
A beautiful beach. Nice pier to walk down. Great place to enjoy the beauty of Kauai.
Sure, the beach is nice and the parking is free. But get here early (6 or 7 am) for "rock star" parking near the river and it's an easy put-in and take-out for your kayak. Paddle up stream in the morning and enjoy the cool and quiet. If you have an inflatable there's even a grassy area to roll it up when you're done.
Great parking area for visiting Hanalei Pier.
While we were here the waves weren't too strong. Was perfect for under 4yr. We played near the river. Parking was very close to the beach.
