Birds always has the best, easy-going vibes. Rosa delivered a high-quality haircut experience today, and I am so grateful to have booked her for my bob. Her attention to detail was incredible, and she made me feel 100% comfortable by checking in with me throughout the process. Will definitely return for my next cut!

I’ve been going to Barbara at Birds Barbershop on South Lamar for a couple of years now, and I can honestly say I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. Once I found her, that was it! She’s always cheerful, easy to talk to, and just an all-around great person. On top of that, she’s incredibly skilled and consistent—every cut comes out perfect. I actually look forward to my appointments because it feels more like catching up with a friend who just happens to be amazing at what she does. Highly recommend Barbara to anyone looking for a top-notch stylist!

I visited Birds as a walk-in recently and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When I was explaining my usual haircut preferences to the stylist, she compared it to telling a doctor how to do their job, which felt a bit dismissive. Even though she tried to be friendly afterward, the haircut itself felt rushed and lacked attention to detail. I ended up with an uneven cut that lost my natural texture/flow, and it just didn’t match what I asked for. Especially at a $55 price point. I hope they can improve on listening to customer input and focusing more on the little details in the future.

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. Spose to be a mullet, it’s not even faded, I should have known when Ivy called it a blend. Terrible haircut, literally I’m so upset. I will never ever go back. I would not trust Ivy cutting anyone’s hair. This is really really bad. She also faced me away from the mirror so I couldn’t tell until she was done. I went home to look in my and literally it looks like a child cut my hair. The “blend” has giant chunks all in it. And there’s literally no length anymore. I’m furious. Don’t go here or at least to Ivy. I want my money back. Why is she even more than the others?? Follow up: I was contacted, received a refund, and went to an adjacent birds salon to have them fix what they could. Still 90% of my hair is gone in comparison to when I went originally a tri
