Bijou Nails

My experience wasn’t the worst but I doubt I’ll be a returning client. I did the M-W mani + pedi special for $45(regular polish). The pedicure was ok but the technician was a bit insensitive. I had a cut on my ankle and she very intensely rubbed the foot scrub over it multiple times when it definitely could’ve been avoided. I also notified her my toe nail tends to break on the side and showed her exactly where- she cleaned under the nail so hard it broke- again- and I only noticed once I got home she simply just painted over it. Now for the manicure- she lotioned my hand with nail filings all over it instead of having me just wash my hands or even dust them then proceeded to throw the moist hot towel over it to clean off the lotion- making the feeling even worse. I had the honor of Michelle(the owner) refill my nails with a powder fill from a previous acrylic set. Michelle and her staff are AMAZING! They offer both booking ahead and walk ins. She is an extraordinary woman, having her business for 20 years!! I also had a lower leg wax done and she was quick and efficient—minimizing pain. The shop is in excellent condition for sanitation and everyone is so friendly. The prices are very affordable and fair. I would recommend booking ahead to guarantee a spot.

Wonderful job!! I’ve been to many salons over the years but this place is so quick and cost effective you definitely need to check it out! Got a mani-pedi for $55 and they do so many spa treatments just the basics are worth it!

Great Covid setup - quickly and easily take temperature with automatic handheld device when you enter, plexiglass on the manicure counters, blocked off every other pedicure chair, masks, new equipment etc. In at lunchtime and only one other customer there. I was very happy with my gel manicure which was $40 (ok $45 as I chose organic polish) which is the cheapest in the area. The beautician also spent an hour on me. Don’t think you can hang around and dry normal manicures and pedicures in there at the moment so fyi.

I am extremely disappointed. I got my nails done tuesday and one is broken and the gel is peeling off. These were $95.. plus tip. Not even a week old.
