Beverly Nail Salon Austin

I just so happen to be in the area and thought I would drop into this salon. The lady that cleaned up my eye brows was incredibly sweet. She is the only reason why there is even one star. I definitely would have given zero if not for her. Another gentleman came to do a color change on my toes. His hair was dyed brown at the top. He seemed as though he was in a rush. Somehow when I went to let my toes dry one of them got messed up. I told him I did not bump it and was unsure how it got messed up. He proceeded to call me a liar. I had been nothing but respectful to this gentleman so this comment came out of nowhere. I cannot believe this is the kind of treatment I received when I was paying for a service. Great for pedicures. Acrylic not so much my nails look like I have gum balls. They are so thick and every nail is a different shape lol. Horrible just horrible.

I've known Ivy for about 12 years, when she moved over to this location in Austin I obviously followed her. I go every 3 weeks for my nails and every 6 for nails and toes. Everyone that I've met is so nice. The place is clean professional and have never had a problem. I've never used anyone else but Ivy (except for when she's out of town then I use Vivian) but all the employees greet me with a smile say hi and talk to me the whole time I'm in there.

While my experience at the salon was very positive with kind and attentive staff, the result was very poor. I’m giving them one star only for the nice attitude. The quality of the service was awful. I had three technicians doing my gel nail polish manicure which may have caused this. The gel covered my cuticles at the bottom of the nails and it started peeling three days after I was at the salon. One week after that, it started peeling at the top of the nails. I’d expect gel lack to last at least 2-3 weeks, although gel nails done in other places have lasted me up to 6 weeks without peeling off at all. Regular nail polish has lasted me longer than this. Very disappointed.

I came in for a dip manicure and a shellac pedicure. There was a man who did my manicure and I felt like he was missing some steps, but I wasn’t 100% sure. After about a week, my nails all begin to lift at the cuticle. I thought to myself, It was a bad manicure, I’ll never go back! My situation was far worse than I imagined! I went in to have the dip polish removed after a week and a half and found two funguses on my nails!!! Apparently the lifting of the nails because the product was not applied appropriately caused water to be trapped and a fungus to grow. I’ve been getting dip nails for at least 10 years and I have never had a fungus!
