Benny's Barber Shop

I had a great and easy time getting a haircut while out of town visiting family in the area. I don't remember the name of my barber, but she gave some great advice and I have gotten some great compliments on the cut since then. Would definitely recommend this place.

I went there about 3 weeks ago and got a haircut. The people who work there are very nice people who take care of you no matter if you have appointments or not. Just walk in. The cut your hair and give you a good hot towel and shave . On the picture it says $25.00 for a haircut but they've gone up to $30.00 for just a haircut. So they might need to change the picture on the Internet. Other than that it's a good place to go if you're not from there. If I go back to Pawley Island I will go back to there and get my haircut again..

I like it here but the last time I went Taylor, one of the barbers,kept the change when I gave her $40 on a $30 haircut. While that’s not that big of a deal I would like the option of telling them how much i would like to leave as a tip instead of assuming I would tip 33% on a haircut. I considered not coming anymore but I will just instead make sure I have the exact amount I want to tip in cash. The haircut has always been great and all employees are great and this was my only bad experience and maybe she was just used to tipped that amount.
