I went today to find colored nail tips for acrylics. Thats all I wanted. Before arriving, I attempted to go to another store, but felt very unwelcome and left before even going in. Sitting in the front of this store, it had no signs, images or other displays that made me feel like I would be viewed as the "enemy". It happens alot to folks like me (white) in businesses owned by POC. The staff AND customers were SUPER NICE! It was a melting pot of cultures and it was the BEST experience. I won't comment on the store because I am just visiting and don't know what the issues may be they are facing. I did intentionally decide to spend alot more than initially intended. The guy working today needs to be there MORE. He set a great vibe of inclusion and peace...but no nonsense. That was backed up

On Monday, September 15, 2025, at approximately 4:15 pm, I encountered a female employee with curly hair at a wig store who exhibited intrusive, rude, arrogant, and prideful behavior, using profanity. She stated, 'By looking at the products, you are creating more work for the employees, and since I'm the owner, I can ask you to leave, so leave right now!' This comment suggested that she approaches her work with an expectation of minimal productivity and sales. Furthermore, she claimed to be the owner, which I found questionable given the contrast with other store owners who treat customers with integrity and humility. Anything not Hair and beauty come here Hair supply section STRAY away I’ve been coming here for years and the greed the owner has is crazy stuff I can buy at other places for $10 cheaper he sells at an outrageous price it used to be like the name “discount” but now the owner has gotten greedy or something I talk to multiple employees and they always agree that the prices for black hair products are outrageous

This store is exactly why people stop supporting local businesses. If you’re gonna come here, be ready to feel watched the entire time. Customer service? Basically nonexistent. They don’t greet you, don’t offer help, but will absolutely stare you down like you’re about to rob the place. Then there’s the prices—straight-up robbery. Arizona cans literally say 99 cents on them, but they charge $1.50. The CEO of Arizona has publicly said they aren’t raising prices, so why is this store deciding to? And they don’t even give you a receipt unless you ask. Gee, wonder why? On top of that, they sell turtles and betta fish in tiny, dirty cups, looking barely alive. If you can’t take care of animals, don’t sell them. Oh, and despite what the sign says, they do not take food stamps—only “EBT cash.”
