Beauty Lane

I’ve been coming to this store for YEARS and for the first time ever I come in and was watched !! Even though they tried to play it off it was so obvious! I’ll never spend my BLACK money with this place again,clearly it’s not welcome all of sudden.

just had a fabulous experience at beauty lane. the store was quiet, clean, and well organized. i was so impressed by the variety of hair colors and products (some stuff i’ve never even seen before) if you are a novice like myself there’s plenty to discover. if you have been doing this you’ll find everything you need and more. i didn’t feel rushed or watched and when i finally checked the person at the counter was really chill and surprised me with a few freebies in my bag.

I came here to shop for a simple style—box braids with pre-stretched hair—and they delivered on great prices and friendly service. I got hair beads and braid butter as well.

Staff was patient with my friend who was very needy. They didn't have exactly what she needed in the price range, however. No long wait in line. The selection, overall, seemed pretty good. The prices were hiked-up on simpler items, unfortunately. But the place was organized & clean.

The hair store is a black owned hair store and I loved everything about it up until 15 minutes ago. I went in the store for shampoo and conditioner, they didn’t have what I normally use so I picked up something similar. While browsing through the different shampoos I felt like I was being watched so I looked up and of course there was a gentleman staring me dead in my face!! It was extremely awkward! I don’t know how long he was watching me, but I left from that area and went looking for braiding hair. I didn’t see what I was looking for but I also didn’t want to ask for help because of what had previously happened. I found some hair, grabbed 2 packs and started making my way to the front to check out. I noticed the man had disappeared from the front of the store, so I start looking aroun
