I went to this store on 1/1 and purchased some pack hair that was displayed as bogo free. I told Amy that I wanted 4 packs of 18 inch hair in color 1B. She told me that she had 3 packs of 1B and 1 pack in color 1. I said it was okay and I purchased the hair. When I got ready to install it, I noticed that she actually gave me 3 packs in color 1 and 1 pack in 1B. I called the store to try to explain the situation to her but she didn’t want to help me at all. She didn’t even try to hear me out. I asked her if I could get a refund but she said no. Then I asked if I could come back and exchange it for the color that I told her I wanted to begin with but she said no again. I had a very uncomfortable experience at this store that I feel needs to be addressed. From the moment I entered with my children—my autistic 2-year-old and my 11-month-old in a double stroller—I felt closely monitored and followed by an older employee throughout the store. Her presence was constant and intrusive. At one point, when my husband leaned down to check on our baby, she was standing directly behind him, which felt unnecessary and inappropriate. Throughout our time shopping, the same employee appeared to be “correcting” or hovering rather than offering genuine assistance. When we approached the front of the store, a younger employee made prolonged and uncomfortable eye contact with us, particularly while my autistic child was stimming. I skip every beauty supply store in my neighborhood to come here. The customer service is great. Growing up the owners of these type of stores never spoke unless it was about how much a product cost, not here. I’m always greeted by the female and the male operators of the store. This is the only place I can purchase Dax Grease, it’s always clean even when it’s busy and whenever I have a question they gladly assist me.

The other reviews are accurate . The Asian man at the counter was RUDE . And disrespected me over a 10% discount . A whole $1 off and you want to be rude to me . Our color is what keeping yall in business DONT bite the hand that feeds you . I’ll stick to TOP BEAUTY SUPPLY .
