Beautifully Unique

I contacted Beautifully Unique because my plastic surgeon recommended that I explore all of my options regarding my upcoming surgery. I called Beautifully Unique, and they scheduled my appointment right away. They accommodated me in between several medical appointments, which saved my gas money. I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early. Upon my arrival, Helena, the owner, signaled for me to go inside. She was incredibly helpful. She showed me many options and many products. She patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. She is absolutely fantastic! I will definitely return to Beautifully Unique for all of post-op needs.

After my family member was diagnosed with breast cancer her doctor recommended I contact Beautifully Unique to get the process started for her prosthetic. I called them and was told someone would return my call. After waiting for another week, I tried again. This time I was informed there was no reason for her to make an appointment as insurance wouldn't cover anything until the week of her surgery, but she could make an appointment to come in and "look around" if she wanted to. I tried to schedule, but was told someone will call you back. Now here we are just 3 days from surgery and no contact from them whatsoever. So, now she will not have a fitted prosthetic. Thank you for nothing. I highly do NOT recommend. **After reading the owner's response let me clarify a couple of things

My daughter and myself have called , left messages and sent emails . No response at all. . It has been over a month of trying to contact this business . We have an appointment in Ann Arbor next week so we are going with her prescription to a place in that area ,It’s a shame we live close by and would have loved to give them business. This type of service should be more responsive to the needs of their customers.

They dont even accept meridian or anything that has to do with it. What's the point of running a business like this if you don't accept all insurances?

Wow!!! So pretty, welcoming and comfortable here. Beautiful products, purses, scarves, skirts and lots and lots of bras...to fit Everyone, Really.. No joke! And especially for women who've had mastectomy, lumpectomy, reconstruction...they have post surgical wear, prosthesis, bras, clothing...they bill insurance, fit you in comfortable rooms. The best, sweetest people work here, Debbie and Helena....they reassure, give good advice and help when you are So list and So worried!!! This place is even welcoming to your kids, and husband's .. ..with a hug, a cup of coffee and a candy. Thank you!! Come Here! Don't be afraid!
