This was my first professional massage experience. The establishment was well kept and clean all the way down to the front desk. After my first session I immediately booked a second the very next day. Both sessions helped tremendously and for the most part allowed me to be practically pain free after suffering for more than a year. Thank you Dar'yel and Nicole, great job.

I love coming here. I’ve been 3 times so far and have had a different specialist each time and have always left feeling so much better. My only qualm is it’s hard to get scheduled in, but that just shows to how great the establishment is as well. But I did have a situation where I booked an appt months in advance and it got cancelled due to the specialist being unwell, which is totally understandable. But, I was disappointed that the soonest they could reschedule me for was 5+ months later. For someone who has to get massages for maintenance I will say I do see other specialist outside of here who are also amazing and easier to schedule with. I would definitely recommend them, just make sure to have realistic expectations about their scheduling.

Good afternoon, I visited a specialist with not much experience, and when I came for a massage, I warned that I had L4-L5 protrusion. And I said in which direction it doesn’t hurt to massage my back. The specialist did not ask me how much pressure to apply, did not ask how I feel. I corrected it at the beginning, but still the massage was painful at 6-8 on a 10-point scale. And she then forgot about this direction, so as not to worsen the condition of my lower back. I can handle pain normally and was hoping the massage would help relieve some of the tension in my shoulder area and it really did. But in the end I got an exacerbation of lower back pain, from which I then recovered in 5 days with the help of exercises. Everything is fine now and I would definitely recommend this place to athl

I HIGHLY recommend coming here for a massage. Kelly was my massage therapist and she was amazing. She's also kind and makes you feel at ease. She made it known that if I was ever uncomfortable, I could stop the massage at anytime with no explanation. I respect her for that. Thank you for the great experience and I will be returning soon!

Everyone was very professional. My therapist was great at listening to my preferences with regards to pressure. She took great care to explain to me when a particular area, that has been a problem for me, may hurt due to the knots that had formed. She made sure to teach me some simple stretches that could help alleviate some of the knots and tension. It was an overall wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Kalamazoo Athletic Wellness.
