Beach Bum Tanning

I spent a lot of money at this tanning salon approximately $700 about eight months ago had no idea my tanning sessions would expire after six months and was told they could only roll them over if I bought another package. Don’t waste your money on this place people at least don’t waste your money on packages. They don’t even give you a year to use. I have to say this is a stand-up company within an hour of me leaving finding out that my sessions had expired. Your assistant manager called me and reinstated them other than that little hiccup. This is an amazing place. The beds are great. It’s nice and clean and I am happy with my service.

I am a new client. I had the pleasure of being helped by Taylor. She is absolutely adorable!! She was the only there. She was working very hard, and still provided exceptional customer service. I will definitely be back. Thanks Taylor for a great first experience.

I used to tan here regularly and gave this place 5 stars, then I quit tanning. When returning 2 years ago, I changed my rating to 3 stars. Upon returning this time I'm dropping to 2 stars. The staff is super friendly and helpful when asking about products and by completing routine sessions I have achieved a nice tan on the bronze level. My biggest issue is the last 3 times I have used a lay-down bed they have been dirty with the last persons dried sweat/skin spots and greasy lotion marks which is super gross. There is a towel provided which I use to wipe them with before getting in but this shouldn't be an issue. They're not so busy that they can't thoroughly spray & wipe clean between customers. The rating Im giving is due to what one would call “faulty product “, because the young lady who checked me in was awesome. She was friendly, welcoming & helpful. Im on vacation from NC & I was not able to get by my regular tanning salon for my usual spray tan so I decided to take a chance & get one where we are vacationing. Im not new to spray tanning as i get them on a regular year round. I spent $58 on a rapid & I still waited 5 hours before showering & it looks like crap. My face, neck & shoulders look the same as before i got the spraytan. My legs look a little bit darker but not $58 worth darker. Like I said get spray tanned on a regular & Im always on social media singing the praises of my Palm Beach Spray Tan because it does look so amazing & natural when I get it done. Yes I know

I had a few issues concerning the beds and the salon needing upgrades and I'm excited to say that after speaking with the GM that they are under new ownership and renovations new beds new bulbs are getting ready to be done within the next month or so. It truly meant a lot for this gentleman to call me and tell me how he apologized for previous management or ownership and that they were on top of it and they will be making this into a great tanning place again. So with that being said I will give this a four star for the fact that they took the time out to address my concerns.
