Bath & Body Works

I came to this store specifically for the Disney collection, and while I already love Bath & Body Works, this location is hands down my favorite! Within the first two minutes of walking in, I was greeted and informed about what was new, what’s coming soon, current deals, and what I could expect to find in the store. The associate helping us was incredibly kind and welcoming. At checkout, the cashier was just as friendly and pleasant. The customer service here is truly outstanding. Everyone is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind.

Look, I LOVE bath and Body Works. I go there all the time. Their products are amazing. But this review would likely only be one or two stars if it weren't for an employee named Mae. Mae absolutely "Maede" (Bad pun, sorry, I had to) the entire otherwise nightmarish trip to this store today. She was friendly, made me feel welcome, and took time to talk to me an answer questions. And on black Friday too! As someone who also works in customer service, I know just how difficult it gets to stay friendly with customers, especially on a busy day (and like I just said, this was Black Friday.) But Mae managed to go above and freaking beyond. Honestly, all of the employees were amazing today, all of you were so sweet an made the otherwise rough experience (such as standing in line for 30! Minutes!

The store itself was fun and had some great items, but the experience was ruined by the worker with short black and red hair. She was rude over the smallest things and didn’t offer to help even when it was clear I was looking for something. Instead, she talked down to me like I was a child. Definitely took away from the fun of visiting.

As stated under the Layton Hills Mall BBW… I have been a BBW customer for a very long time. I have never had an issue with any store I’ve ever shopped at, until today. I placed an order, it charged my card (yes, a temporary hold/charge). It wasn’t a huge order just some soaps and wallflowers. I get the email that they (The Layton Hills mall) received my order. Unbeknownst to me, they are currently under construction and had maintenance people working there doing I don’t know what… I explained that I placed an order and the Korean maintenance lady working there not only refused to listen to me but other than calling me a liar, told me “there is no way that you placed an order” “but I have a charge and I have an order number” she wouldn’t even look at my phone… no apologies nothing. These are the nicest people! I had an online order cancel and went in to ask for some help and they walked through the store and helped me get what I needed! It was so easy to ask my questions and felt heard when they were helping me!
