Basic Cuts

This place has gotten terrible. It used to be good cause it was $7 (plus a $1 tip so $8) but now it's $10 plus if u give $1 then they'll give u a dirty look so u gotta tip $2 - $12 all together. Carol would generally cut my hair and she does it fast so it's just a simple haircut without much attention to detail. And it's true about the hours - they will close early for lunch or close shop or because they have to go somewhere. This place is gonna close soon - just not worth it for the service they provide.

We went there because it was recommend. Good cut by Krystal. Sign said her days were Mon, Thurs & Sat. few weeks later went back on a Thursday at 5:30pm and they were closed. Pulled my kid out of practice early the following Monday to get there by 4pm and they were closed. Went to their competitor in Brick that day that is open until 6:30pm. 3 weeks later tried Basic Cuts again on a Saturday at 2:30pm and can you guess what happened? YES! They were CLOSED AGAIN on a Saturday at 2:30pm! No hours posted. If you call their number it just rings and rings. No answer machine with hours or anything. Will not waste my time trying to figure out their hours again. Very poor management.

Great haircut from Krystal, Thursdays and Saturdays, best haircut in town! Carol is great too! She is there other days! Both friendly girls!

TERRIBLE!!! The hours of operation on the door state that they are open until 4:30PM,.,,,I arrived at 4:07PM....the door was locked...the lights were on...the closed sign was posted....and the women who cuts hair was inside...I got her attention and she refused to open the door....I then called and she told me she closed because she was alone...what a way to run a business...I will never go there again and I hope most people that read this review take my advice....stay away from a business that cant honor their own hours of operation....while on the phone I asked for the managers name and she hung up on me....I am not letting this one go....this person should be fired!

I've been going here for quite a few years now. Krystle is the best. I tell her exactly what I want and no matter what, it comes out great! I'm going there today.
