Barbon's isn't just for men. I had an incredible experience at Barbon getting my long hair trimmed, cut, and styled by Sarita. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and relaxed, and everyone made me feel taken care of. Sarita really listened to what I wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and paid close attention to detail the entire time. The finished cut and style were exactly what I was hoping for. My hair feels so healthy, looks amazing, and still feels like “me.” The whole experience felt more like hanging out in a cool space with friends than a typical appointment. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend booking with Sarita if you’re looking for a great cut and a wonderful overall experience.

Barbons is hands down the best barbershop in Austin. I’ve been getting my haircut there since they first opened, and I won’t go anywhere else. The quality has always been excellent, and they’re consistently on time. Sarita and her team are friendly, welcoming, and above all amazing at cutting hair. I couldn’t recommend this spot enough!

First of all, the positive. GREAT quality haircuts. Type of place I can walk in and basically my regular barber remembers exactly what cut I want. Love it for that. My main gripe is checking out. The last handful of times when using my card, I’ve been charged a “credit card fee”; and it was not disclosed. Sometimes it is added AFTER you add your tip while the transaction is processing and it makes the total more than you expected. Another time, I was charged more for the haircut than what was advertised on the website when booking. Overall, this feels like an unethical way of squeezing customers in what I already consider an expensive experience. These late stage capitalism times we live in is truly depressing.

Honestly, at first, I was skeptical. I've been in Austin for the better part of 15 years and seen dozens of barbershops rise and fall. But my barber Alan - who has been the only person I trust to cut my hair for the last few years - recently moved to this shop, so I figured I’d give it a shot and I have to admit I was truly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I instantly felt both welcomed and comfortable. The staff was super attentive, and I barely had to wait at all to get seated. It was a Thursday morning when I stopped by, so I politely declined the complimentary spirits, but it looked like they had a great selection along with some other drinks like cold brew. It’s a very well put together shop with lots of good parking if you're in a spot that is not convenient to walk or bike

Best barbershop in Austin. When I first got here 5 years ago, I ran through a few before landing on Barbon’s, no comparison. Fair price point, very friendly staff, courteous and attentive owner. Can’t go wrong by going to Barbon’s.
